Went to see the new le Carré film:
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy
at the Odeon, and it is so good to see an intelligent, articulate
(albeit sleazy) film featuring Old People as the characters.
Youth, for once, does not rule the day. . .
The film is beautifully shot, in London primarily, but everywhere,
inside and out. A hazy blue cast throughout gives it a
convincing and appropriately cool patina of age.
