Passed the time on my ride back to Firenze
from lovely Lucca this afternoon reading Patricia and Walter Wells'
We've Always Had Paris. . . And Provence,
their mostly foodie memoirs (as I read it) of life in France,
and pouring over the tempting recipes they share.
Passed the 20-minute walk back to my apartment
musing over Patricia's Fettucine with Vodka and Lemon,
spent an hour or so then here, nella cucina, putting it together,
then a delicious 20 minutes eating it.
