It's a Bicerin . . . 

I was reminded by a heard-on-the-street comment

to try one, a bicerin.

It's the official drink of Turin,

and just that is nice, that they have an official drink.

A Bicerin is:

Espresso, thick drinking chocolate, whipped cream, 

served in a small glass in a silver clip.

I believe there are minor variations:

regular cream instead of whipped,

different proportions/consistencies of chocolate.

The one I had was A-mazing on the first taste

but by the time I'd tasted again (and again),

the effect of all its rich excesses began to alert my palate 

that some things are better left to just one taste.

Still, a wondrous thing to try.
