Took an evening walk over to the has-everything casalinga store on Borgo La Croce to buy an immersion blender, and used it tonight to make carrot soup. It's a Moulinex and doesn't have the oomph of my Cuisinart model back home, but did the trick. Sun today, and the night was lovely. Earlier, met Daniela at Oibo, which is turning into a busy neighborhood coffee café by day, a successful addition to its hipper, nighttime persona.
