Arrivederci to Pappataci and to Bigne. This is a photo of Patrizio Cosi, our go-to spot in Firenze for all things sweet and caffeinated. It may look tame, but it is a serious pasticceria. We are out of Firenze now, and back to American-style civilization at the Rome Airport Hilton tonight. A big sign and feeling that the trip is over. It all went so fast! Now home to snow and whatever.
